今年的衣櫥裡一定要擁有的就是Statement Sleeves，就是誇張的袖子，把全身的重點在袖子就對了！
相信有在看在時尚雜誌、各大秀資訊的，已經常常看到它們的身影，但要到底要如何搭配呢？
“Must have in the wardrobe” this year is Statement Sleeves, exaggerated sleeves is the focus of the style.
I believe that it is seen a lot in fashion magazines and runway shows. Yet, how to rock the Statement Sleeves?
袖子的設計有非常多的變化
- 像是鐘一般外型的鐘型袖子，布料從肩膀的位置慢慢延伸到袖口位置時邊緣會變寬
鐘型袖子是比較好駕馭的一款，下身不要穿過於寬鬆即可，如果個子比較小想搭配Boyfriend 牛仔褲，建議搭上高根的短靴拉長比例，或是緊身牛仔褲
- 整個袖子都由荷葉造型設計堆疊而成的荷葉邊袖
荷葉邊袖子也是一樣，如果是搭配裙子，盡量不要選太寬鬆的款式
- 靠近袖口位置會有百褶裙一般，一摺一摺外型的百褶袖
- 手跟大家玩躲貓貓的加長型袖子
Extra-Long Sleeves 是我今年最想挑戰的，幾乎拖倒地上的袖口設計，用一個單品就可以增加視覺上的衝突感，嘗試這類上衣的時候，身上就不要再有任何垂墜式的單品囉！
- 和加長型袖子相反，袖子長度縮短但寬度加寬的氣球袖
不要覺得Statement Sleeve好像太Over，又不是走在巴黎街頭，錯！
它可是非常好搭的單品！只要搭配的好，小個子大個子女生都非常適合
在穿 Statement Sleeves 有一個基本的概念就是：由於上身是較複雜和特殊的設計，下半身就只需搭配簡單的剪裁，像是牛仔褲、黑色窄裙…，有時候甚至連小飾品都不需要

Different variations for sleeves style
- Bell Sleeves, fitted on the shoulder and flare out wide toward the wrist, the shape looks a lot like a bell.
The top goes along with many style, but it is suggested to wear something more fitting for the bottom. If one is more of a fun size and wants to wear Boyfriend jeans with a Bell sleeves top, it is recommended to wear them with heels, it helps to lengthen the body.
- Ruffle Sleeves, the entire sleeve is stacked and covered by the shape of Lotus leaf.
The same as bell sleeves, the top goes along with many style, if one is wearing it with a skirt, recommend to a more fit style kind of skirt.
- Pleated Sleeves, folds around the cuff similar look as a pleated skirt.
- Extra-Long Sleeves, like playing hide and seek with your hands
Extra-Long Sleeves is the style that I want to try out the MOST, the long sleeves design that’s almost touching the floor, using one single item can increase the visual conflict in your outfit. When trying out this style, keep it simple with no draped accessories.
- Balloon Sleeves, puffed up to be short and wide. The round style is then gathered at the end, so the overall shape resembles a semi-deflated balloon.
Do not think the Statement Sleeves is too dramatic, or it’s only wearable when walking down on the streets in Paris. It is an “anytime, anywhere” style, if you wear it RIGHT, it can be suitable for any body type.
The basic concept while wearing the statement sleeves is: Keeping the bottom simple since the tops are more complex and unusual shaped. Such like a pair of jeans or black straight skirt. Sometimes, accessories are not even needed in the outfits.

Off shoulder shows a little sexy and a little cuteness, I will wear neutral design bottom for this kind of style.
Use special sleeves design to show your own personality! Such as sleeves with bow-knot, straps, lace or metal ring, etc. Different style shows different impression. If you are not comfortable showing your arms, it will be an excellent choice. This summer you can choose cropped top or off-shoulder, but the main focus is on the sleeves!
